“Sweet Little Susie”
Susie was painted from life. She was our guest model.
Once or twice a week I paint with a group of artist friends. When painting in the manor I usually paint on a 16x12 canvas board but his time I painted on 7x5 Ambersand Gesso Board. This was the first time I painted a human so small. I like it and will be doing more.

Driving country roads I see glorious old fashion daylilies. Then when the sun hits the daylilies their brilliance always compels me to stop and marvel at their simple beauty. I finally had the opportunity to paint these simple little flowers at Agnes Starks Studio / farm. Thank you Artist Link for inviting me.

The last little painting from Traderhorn Lake in Mississippi. Each day I am looking for something to paint always trying to improve my skills. And I just love to paint. Have a great 4th of July.
